rideATAXIA NorCal 2022

This year in June, I am participating in RideATAXIA to raise funds for research to find a cure for Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA), a rare, debilitating, and life-shortening neuromuscular disease. Our team, Team Hennessy, is supporting me and my brother Zack who deal with the effects of FA every day. The team is so happy that this year it is back in person on June 4, 2022, in Winters, CA. There are several ways to participate: cycle 10, 23, or 52 miles, walk/run 1.5 miles or even virtually participate to raise awareness and funding. I’d love for you to join us either by participating in the in-person or virtual event; getting sponsors, donating, or just taking time to increase your knowledge about FA and spread awareness. This year rideATAXIA will include independent commitments to help raise awareness and research funding. You can make a goal for the time period and track your progress: cycling miles, walking miles, minutes of exercise, a number of sit-ups – anything goes! Also, there will be small local events to supplement this virtual experience. Those dates are TBD and we will keep you updated! So please check back.
